Alison Stephens

Alison Stephens is Professor of Mandolin at Trinity College, London, and probably the finest mandolin player in the UK. She made her professional debut aged 17 in the Vivaldi Concerto for Two Mandolins at The Barbican, London. Since then she has played with every major orchestra in every major hall in the country and all over the world. She has recorded an album called 'Music from the Novels of Louis de Bernieres', which was released by Chandos on October 21st 1999 and has been hugely successful featuring in the classical music charts over Christmas. Ali plays for The Royal Opera House, The Royal Shakespeare Co. and for the film of 'Captain Corelli's Mandolin'.
